Farewell Helen Ford
Deputy Ombudsman and manager of EWON’s Governance, Awareness and Policy team, Helen Ford, finished at EWON last week. Initially, Helen will travel overseas and spend time with her UK-based family before coming back to Sydney and taking some time to check out what is next for her career. We would like to acknowledge Helen’s extensive contribution to EWON. Her influence and expertise have contributed greatly to EWON’s success.
New Deputy Ombudsman
We are also excited to announce that Rosa Krilic, General Manager Dispute Resolution, will take up the position of Deputy Ombudsman at EWON. This is a combined role with Rosa continuing to lead the Dispute Resolution team as she has since February 2021. In accepting the new role, Rosa said it is both an honour and a privilege to be appointed as Deputy Ombudsman at EWON, and she is inspired by the legacy that Helen Ford has built in this position before her.
New General Manager Governance, Awareness and Policy
We are pleased to announce that Polly Porteous has been appointed EWON’s new General Manager Governance, Awareness and Policy and joined EWON last week. Polly’s career brings together many years of experience in a range of fields including legal, advocacy, ombudsman, dispute resolution and stakeholder and community engagement.
