This quarter we focused on the following topics:

  1. High debt  
    Many customers are approaching EWON with high bills that have accumulated over time. Often, customers have no capacity to pay off the debt and require extra assistance to manage their circumstances. This has been exacerbated by the current cost of living crisis with more customers reaching out to us for assistance who have never needed to before.

  2. Electric vehicle complaints 
    With the acceleration of electric vehicle (EV) uptake, more customers are approaching EWON confused about charging plans and new tariffs.  

  3. Door to door and telesales 
    We are calling for a ban on unsolicited door to door and telesales, in line with other states. Despite an overall decrease in marketing complaints over the last decade, customers are still being pressured to purchase products they don’t fully understand.
